Hi folks! Now that the re-release of Final Fantasy XIV is drawing nigh (and for some people, is already here), I thought I’d let everyone know that we do, in fact, intend to revive Vera Vitae, the Real Life Linkshell. As a matter of fact, it’s already THERE… it never went away. If you were in it before and you had a character on Excalibur, fantastic! You’re already in – just log in, revive your character, and you’re good to go. If not, MAKE a character on Excalibur, ’cause that’s where we’ll be playing. (Yes, will be. Despite the fact that the game launches officially on Tuesday, I see no possibility of actually playing for at LEAST a week, possibly more.)
Vera Vitae was (and is) a purely social Linkshell. We don’t want to be a hardcore raiding LS (as our main purpose) though that doesn’t mean we won’t do those kinds of raids eventually. As such, we’re partnered with Dimensional Death, a linkshell/guild formed by Ayasu, the previous head of various iterations of the LS. If you want to discuss VV in any way, she’s created some forums for us to use at http://dimensionaldeath.com/index.php?board=110.0. For right now, the person to mention for a LinkPearl will be “Ayasu Lemieux”, though we may add more folks to that list as time goes on. Be sure to specifically ask about Vera Vitae, or you may be invited to DD instead. :)
