Dave: Whaaaaat are you doing?
Mae: Waiting to make sure the print properly adhered to the build plate.

Mae: Since the plate has to dip into the resin in order to create each layer, there’s no way of knowing whether or not it properly adhered to the plate until it comes up about an inch.

Mae: Accordingly, I am waiting until I can finally see the first hint of the build plate over the edge of the resin vat.
Dave: Or…. novel idea here, you could just… walk away and check it later?

Mae: We have MET, have we not?
Dave: Yeah, it sounded ridiculous to me even as I was saying it.
