So, tomorrow night I depart for Portland, where on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, I will be a guest at KumoriCon! So if you’re in the area, of even if you aren’t, schlep on down (or up) to Portland to partake in the fun!
I don’t have an exact schedule yet – that will be forthcoming. But hear this! Today, I recieved a shipment of stuff to bring to the con to sell… including “Fuego!” t-shirts, “Everything I need to know in life I learned from Ultima Online” posters, and of course, the perennial Shirt Ninja and DorkBoy shirts, not to mention a bunch of books!
I’m also going to be doing a few panels – usual Q&A type for one of them, but for the first time, I’ve been asked to do an Illustrator workshop. That should be pretty interesting… I hope. I’m pretty bad as a teacher, but I’m gonna do my best. I’m going to focus on how to make Illustrator do photoshop-like effects. (the lighting and blurs you see in the comic, stuff like that.) Well, amongst other things. Who knows. But come to the con! Be there! I mean it!
