Sometimes, you go to battle with a day, and the day just WINS. Today was one long series of battles, each of which beat me down just a little farther until I left work angry and frustrated and just ready for the day to end. Went to my Dad’s to celebrate his birthday, and now It’s 12 pm after getting home, and there’s absolutely no way in hell I’m going to be able to get a comic done – especially not in the vein of the comics I’ve been doing the past few days. (Wednesday’s comic took 2 and a half hours to draw… two of which was spent on the first panel alone.)
I have higher hopes for tomorrow. As long as the world doesn’t explode halfway through the day, I think I’m gonna call it a win.
