So, unless you’ve been hiding under a rock for the past few days, and that rock SOMEHOW had no Wi-Fi (’cause let’s face it – mother nature is big on broadband), you know that Diablo III has been announced. More than just announced – there’s a whole site with gameplay footage, a trailer, screenshots and everything. As you’d know by reading the comic years and years ago, I’m a HUGE fan of the Diablo series. I even had a brief tour of the Blizzard north offices years and years ago when they were working on the Diablo II expansion. Blizzard and me – we go way back. In a way.
So anyway, I found it ESPECIALLY cool when I was watching the gameplay footage (which you should definately do. The way they’ve made the environment look and act is GORGEOUS) and got to the part where the Barbarian rescued Deckard Cain. Especially when you read this comic from waaaaay back in 2001. Now, maybe it’s a coincidence… but I think not. :) You can decide for yourself.
