So, the German translation has done two things for me, as the owner of this “business”. One, it has allowed me to finally reach a broader audience than I ever would have been able to do by myself. But 2)… It’s served as the test case for what I hope to turn into a much bigger thing.

See, I want to expand beyond just German. Japanese, Spanish, Russian… you name it. Only about 1/10th or less of the world speaks English. Why not make it a little easier for those who DON’T?

So the way I have structured things is thus – if you (you being the person translating the comic, of course) translate each new strip, as well as a set number of old strips per month, I’ll cut you in for a very large share of the profits gained by those translations. That means any advertising, any book sales (if we were ever lucky enough to make a book in said language)… you name it.

So what I need at this point… is you. If you’re fluent in both English and… well, whatever other language… and you have time each day to devote to doing some translating in return for potential money, send me an e-mail. We could make something seriously cool happen. :)

Wow… there certainly is a lot of interest in translating the comic. As of right now at 10 AM, I have over sixty people willing to translate the comic into, at last count, THIRTEEN DIFFERENT LANGUAGES.

That, to be perfectly honest with you, is completely freaking mind-blowing. My mind… is blown. Anyhow – this message is by no means to tell you to stop sending in your e-mails – I actually ENCOURAGE you to continue sending them in. Mostly, I just wanted to let you know that I have a lot, a LOT to go through, and not to lose heart if I take some time to get back to you. I’m kinda going through these systematically. :)
