Greg: Past this whole “we have to ‘fix’ it or moviegoers won’t like it” mentality.

Greg: Literally EVERY human who is going to the movies these days has played or seen Sonic the hedgehog in some form or another. He had a goddamn PARADE BALLOON at the Thanksgiving day parade.
Greg: I call bullshit on the idea that the character AS DESIGNED wouldn’t work in whatever movie they wanted to make with him.

Dave: It’s a first-time director, Jim Carrey is playing Dr. Robotnik, and it takes place in the “real” world.
