Wow. I was supposed to post this, like… WEDNESDAY. But I suppose the one-day notice will sort of fit in with the idea anyway, so let’s just hope and pray that enough people will read this to where I can get something to get me started… and we’ll see where this goes.
Okay: Here’s the idea, as it occurred to me… I want to do a week of comics where you guys submit a script, I pick one and do it, and we progress things one day at a time. Essentially, a one-sentence story kind of thing, where one person writes a sentence, and then another person writes one, and so on and so forth until they have a story. Well, I think it’d be kind of fun to do something like that this week, only instead of sentences, it’s a whole comic. Then, I’ll do that comic as written, post it, and hope to god I get enough submissions the next day to do another comic in the storyline. Then, we wrap it up by Friday. :D
I know it’s something of a goofy concept, and I know there’s the chance that I just won’t get enough scripts to do it, but I think it’s worth a shot. It could be really, really fun… whaddya say? If you say YES, then e-mail me your scripts so I can get started! I’ll be cutting off daily submissions at 7 PM every day, and I’ll be trying to broadcast myself working on the comic every day this week at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/the-real-life-comics-livecast so you can watch me work. This could be fun! I hope! So remember, e-mail me with your comic script before 7 PM, and you could be the writer of tomorrow’s Real Life!
