Panel 1
Mae: Hey Tony, do you have any AA batteries? The TV remote keeps eating through them and I wanted to see if I could save a trip to the store.
Tony: No, I only have AAA’s on hand, sorry.

Panel 2
Mae: Dang it. Ah well - I’ll be back in a few.
Tony: You know, I may have an alternative… though I’m not sure you’d be interested.

Panel 3
Mae: What kind of alternative?
Tony: I have some zero-point Casimir batteries down in storage that I made a while back. They’re the same form factor as a AA, but they draw on the vacuum energy of space, so they never run out.

Panel 4
Mae: Is there a compelling reason I WOULDN’T be interested in a battery that LITERALLY LASTS FOREVER?
Tony: Well YEAH. They’re not UL listed.
