Panel 1
Cartoonist: Howdy, folks! I’m your friendly neighborhood cartoonist here to help clarify a few things for people, since there seems to be a little confusion amongst some readers.
Panel 2
Cartoonist: So this isn’t actually Mae - She’s Greg, a character from an alternate universe. In 2002, Tony and Greg (Our Greg, not this Greg) visited a universe where everyone was gender-swapped.
Cartoonist: It definitely wasn’t my way of trying to work through my gender feelings at the time. Why would you even think that?
Panel 3
Cartoonist: In 2008, this same alternate-universe Greg and Tony came to visit our universe, where Tony attempted to murder Tony, and after a WHOLE LOT of shenanigans, wound up heading back to their own universe. That’s where Mae is now!
Panel 4
Cartoonist: I’ll be honest, I’m a little surprised so many people don’t remember this. It only happened seventeen years ago. PRACTICALLY YESTERDAY.
Cartoonist: Okie-dokie! Back to our regularly scheduled idiocy!
