So, I figured I’d pop in for a quick update as to the book status – because as may be obvious by looking at the status bar… it’s NOT going to be done in time.
However, there HAVE been some developments. We’re currently in talks with… well, let’s just say it’s a pretty damn big name – to publish our books. This means it will be available in STORES. Real stores. And if I play my cards right, it also means that a hardcover edition is almost an inevitability. I don’t want to give away specifics until we actually have something set in stone, but this is a Very Good Thing® in the long run.
Anyhow, things have become such that I need to work more frequently at Dave’s Gourmet in order to survive, so book progress has slowed down. And even if it hadn’t, the publisher won’t be ready for us in time to meet our Comic Con deadline anyhow, so it’s kinda okay that it got pushed back. Really, this will help ensure that this book is as awesome as I can make it.
