No I’m not dead yet. Some of you were concerned that I didn’t have anything to rant about. Well lets just say that I have a big mouth and I always have something to say. Never fear, I will ALWAYS have something to rant about. Although I haven’t had much time recently. With work being hectic because Greg and I are going to Sugoi Con at the end of the month. We are leaving for the con on November 20th and returning on the 24th. Then I have my pre-op appointment on the 26th. Then Thanksgiving is the 27th an the 28th. Then I go back to work for 2 days and then I go out for surgery for the rest of the 2003 year.
On top of all of that, cliff is having his “Not 30 yet” party on the 15th of November. (His real birthday is the 26th.) Then I am throwing my sister a suprise 40th birthday party on the 16th. (Her real birthday is the 28th.) ALSO, Greg’s sister has the EXACT same birthday as my sister. So that adds a little to the commotion.
So what’s the talley so far? I have 12 more working days left in this year. In that time, I have to get all of the artwork done for November, December and some of January. So it has been a little busy around my desk. That and I don’t have any free time because of Final Fantasy 11.
Of course, Greg and I played the game before in the Japanese version. But we deleted those characters so that we could start new with the English version. (That way we can get the storyline and play with all of our friends.) But my only real beef with the game so far is that they didn’t start any new servers. I feel really bad for all of those Japanese players that got used to playing with plenty of creatures spawning. I fell bad that we took over their game and now speak just english. I just feel bad. Square really should have made some new servers. I want to know what the hell took them so long to get the game released. All they had to do was translate it! Also, what in the world were those people beta testing? It wasn’t the servers! It wasn’t the game! What was it? hehe.
