Liz: Heeeere we go.
Greg: I think “Lower Decks” might be my FAVORITE of all the current Star Trek shows.

Liz: OK, that take is a bit spicy even for ME. You’re seriously gonna put this above PICARD?!
Greg: I will, and I’ll tell you why: This is the first completely fresh take on the franchise in AGES.

Greg: Sure, we’ve had other shows like Voyager where all the characters are completely new, but MOST Trek shows put the focus back on some variety of the Enterprise in some way or another. Lower Decks doesn’t, AND manages to be a comedy at the same time!

Greg: Basically, this is the show The Orville WISHES it could be.
Liz: You hear that? That’s the sound of a thousand angry Orville fans destroying your e-mail inbox.
Greg: At least it’ll give them something to do while they wait for their show to come back.
