Panel 1
Mae: Hey Dave! I got into the alpha test for [REDACTED]
Dave: For what?
Panel 2
Mae: Wait, what? Why did that sound like [REDACTED]? I was trying to say [REDACTED].
Dave: This game wouldn’t happen to be under an NDA, would it?
Panel 3
Mae: Well sure, but… I mean, I knew they were legally binding, but how the hell would that stop me from saying it out loud?
Dave: Computer game NDA’s are no joke. Especially from some of those zero-crunch indie studios - how ELSE would a team of like 10 people to make a game in any reasonable timeframe if NOT for invoking dark magic?
Panel 4
Mae: You know, now that you mention it, they DID request a lock of my hair in order to join the alpha… that probably should have sent up a red flag.
Dave: That’s actually industry standard these days.
