Title: 2094

I want to publicly apologize to the people who saw the comic before about 10 AM PST. I know it’s probably not a big deal to most of you, but I hold myself to a very strict guideline when it comes to profanity, and I intend to keep my word.

Last night when I was working on the comic, it was roughly 2 AM. Whenever I do blanked out profanity like that, I tend to type out the real word and then just put a box over it, so I can have little bits of the letters sticking out. (Also because I’m considering making the books sort of an “uncensored” version of the comic, considering, you know… you PAY for them.) Well, sadly, last night I apparently put the censor bar on the wrong layer, and when I moved everything into place, it wound up lying BELOW the word bubble, essentially not displaying.

My general rule about profanity is that if they can show it on network television, I can use it in the comic. Thus, bitch, ass and a smattering of other bad words are essentially okay. S**t, while used in my private life ALL THE TIME (I swear like a sailor in person) is kind of off limits as far as the comic goes, so I just wanted to apologize for it being there.

Lesson learned: When working on the comic that late into the morning, double-check all your work.
