Mostly, I delayed writing this rant entry ’cause I’m a bastard, and I like making people sweat things out. :) A lot of people need confirmation from me to know whether to believe it or not. *laughs*
Yesindeedy, Liz and I are currently engaged to be married. We’re doing things on kind of short notice, (we’ve been planning for a few weeks, but our target date is March 20th. Not a lot of time, but things seem to be working out okay so far. :) ) because we’d really like to have the wedding down here near all our families before heading up to Washington. I think we might just pull it off, too. Liz is working like crazy planning the wedding… she’s doing an amazing job. Just reminds me why I want to marry her. I’m really just kind of giddy about the whole thing. I’m really, really looking forward to getting married. I know that might shock the more commitment shy of you, but what can I say. :) She makes me happy.
I’ll be sure to give more details later, and you KNOW you’ll be getting pictures and whatnot after the fact. So no worries. ^^
In completely unrelated news, do you guys remember back when I sold those hand-drawn RL strips on ebay? Well, the guy who bought the second one has hit kind of a financial rut, and he has to sell it. :( I only know this because he asked me if there was any way I could verify for potential bidders that the auction was genuine. Well, I’m gonna do him one better – check out his auction here. Help a brotha out. (and just so we’re clear, he didn’t ask me to do this.)
