Panel 1
Mae: Hey, are you going to be auditioning for the spring play? I saw an email from your teacher that it was today after school, but you hadn’t mentioned anything.
Harper: Oh, uh… I mean, I kinda wanted to, but I dunno.

Panel 2
Mae: How come? You were great in the fall show, and you made a bunch of friends.
Harper: Yeah, but rehearsals are all after school, so I wouldn’t be able to take the bus. And gas is expensive, so…

Panel 3
Mae: Hey kid, listen. I’ll always figure out a way to make it work. Sure, it sucks that your school is half an hour away, but I’ll happily make the drive for you.

Panel 4
Harper: You complained CONSTANTLY about having to do it for the fall show.
Mae: Oh, I’ll still complain.
Mae: I’ll just do it HAPPILY.
