No, but seriously. I’m freaking wiped OUT. And, I think, a little high off these damned acrylic fumes… which certainly doesn’t help me think. Oi. Long, long night. Helped Liz comp up some of her package designs tonight in the interest of getting them done in time to turn in, and Only finished about an hour ago. I’m physically exhausted, and all I was doing was cutting and folding. Cutting and folding. Repeat ad nauseum. (The acrylic was a gloss sealer we used on the printouts to try to get a glossy finish… all we got was a warped printout and a fume headache. C’est la vie.) Anyway, I’m so far beyond being able to work on a comic right now… working on about 2 1/2 hours of sleep as it stands, so I think I need to refresh my supply, right quick. Sorry about that, folks.
BUT FIRST! A few things – something to make Monday’s comic a little more interesting… those of you who are able to reliably cross your eyes, (I’m actually surprised by how many people aren’t able to do it) do so and superimpose panels 1 and 2 in today’s comic. Ta-Da! Avatar it ain’t, but 3D is 3D. :) And yes… I did design it that way last night. (I’ve actually done it a few times in the comic’s history. One day I may even do it more realistically. OOoohh…
Also, some of you read WAY too much into the comic. When I say “not too distant future”, I’m not in some way implying Liz and I are currently expecting. :D But the DISTANT future is a bit misleading, as those kids are around 5-6, and Liz and I DO intend to start having kids here before too long… so, not-too-distant future. See? Believe me… when tiny humans are on the way, I’ll make it known. :D That’s all for now, folks! Time for bed! Whee!
