Hey guys! So, I’m having a helluva time finding what I’m looking for, and I figured – hey, maybe one of the readers has found something similar to it. Were that the case, it would certainly save me a bit of time. :)
Okay, so here’s the gist. I don’t want to get too ahead of myself here, because we’re still weeks away from anything, but now that we’re back in the Sacramento area, we’ve been toying with the idea of getting the Greg, Liz, and Ben show back on the air. (We only did 8 episodes of it back in the day, and while it was occasionally funny, it was very, very poorly produced. :D ) I’m trying to do a lot of preparation for the show, because we intend to do it live – taking phone calls and everything. But there’s one thing that’s stumping me… a customizable sound board program.
In a nutshell, I’m looking for something that will allow me to load up a bunch of sound clips, assign them to buttons, and then click the button to play the clip. If it has the possiblity of looping it, even better. Also, something that can save the scheme so it can be used in the future is a plus. Last, it should ideally be able to play back more than one clip at a time.
I did find a program call the Sitter Downer’s Soundboard, but it has a few drawbacks – one, it only supports .wav files. Two, if a .wav file is too big, it just can’t load it at all. Otherwise, it’d be exactly what I was looking for.
Anyone out there in the audience know of a solution to this little conundrum? I’m not opposed to it being made in flash – there’s just the issue of saving the links and playing multiple sound tracks at once. (if that IS an issue, even. Hell if I know.) Halp!
