Greg: So, after months of people talking about boycotting the Ender’s Game movie so as not to give any more money to Orson Scott Card, the news finally comes out that his deal didn’t include any points on the back end.
Dave: So he got paid up front, and won’t make a cent from movie sales.
Greg: Right.

Greg: Even so, based on the comments I’m seeing online, a ton of these people are just sticking to their guns and saying they’re still going to boycott on principle.
Dave: Well that’s.... special.

Greg: But here’s the one that gets me... the argument a lot of them are using is that if the movie does well, it would incentivize the studio to option the sequels.

Greg: ...Which just goes to prove that NONE of these people have READ the sequels to Ender’s Game.
Dave: I would rather stare at a blank screen for two hours than see a “Speaker for the Dead” movie.
